lol I finally got this done. XD I've been working on and off on it all week, and I added the backgrounds today because it looked awful without them. Yay for digital background practice! XD
Drawing these were so much fun though! And the fire was a surprising joy to draw as well. :3
First Panel: Ryder was about 4 years old. His parents often brought him to lush, green fields on the Southern island where he would get to play around and act like the shy dork that he was.
Second Panel: Ryder was about 19 and still quite upset about the murder of his mother by his own father. He was apart of a small loner herd that roamed the Southern island, and he performed quite a few tasks for the them that he doesn't like to talk about.
Third Panel: Ryder was about 24/25 when the fires took place of the Southern island. He didn't believe that he would make it, but with Khala's help, he was able to find safety with the Exiles.
Fourth Panel: Ryder is probably about 60 here and still has his love for the beach, though it can get a little difficult walking on the uneven sand. And he has gained a few more scars over the years.

I also really love the nice relaxing time at the beach as an old man. Lol, its very nice to see a happy old horse... Or well, at least content. Poor guy has so many scars though. I feel bad for him.
